Recent floods not affecting Khao Sok area  We have had many inquiries recently about floods in Southern Thailand. Khao Sok area was unaffected and National Park is open for visitors. All our recommended tours have been running as usual will be running around the year. If you decide to visit Khao Sok on your own, please follow National Park safety instructions regarding the monsoon season that is about to start in May. Khao Sok National Park HQ is open all around they year with some exceptions to longer treks. During monsoon season the following treks and areas are closed: "The Rafflesia Trek" 1st of May - 31st of October 2011. Sip Et Chan Waterfall , Bang Lab Nam Waterfall , Tang Nam, Ton Kloi Waterfall , Tharn Sawan Waterfall, Nam Ta-lu Cave, Si Ru Cave and Khang Cow Cave 1st of June - 14th of December 2011. National Park has decided to close these treks annually for safety reasons.
